ELLEN WOODLEY

Ellen is a qualified Level 5 BTEC Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist – one of the most comprehensive qualifications in Sports Massage. Ellen specialises in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and pain – both sport and work-related. In addition, Ellen is a specialist in Oncology Massage and actively works on the increasingly positive benefits of ScarWork Therapy.
As a full member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage – the gold standard for complementary health practice – and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), Ellen is bound by their codes of conduct, ethics and practice to provide the highest possible standard of care.
Ellen has always been an active person enjoying horse riding from a young age, playing competitive ladies and mixed hockey through school, County and university, along with corporate teams. Ellen is no stranger to injuries and has always found injuries immensely frustrating, but now knows that there are so many solutions to getting back to good form.
Ellen has enjoyed regular circuit training, running several 10k, mud runner and half marathon events. More recently, She is an avid cold-water swimming enthusiast throughout the year, and enjoys working with weights.
Ellen retrained in 2016 as a Soft Tissue Therapist following successful treatments on herself. In the last few years, Ellen has increasingly specialised in helping clients through Oncology Massage and the rapidly-evolving Scar Therapy work.
